Mitchell Siegel is a sophomore at Duke University studying economics with a concentration in finance, and is also pursuing Duke’s philosophy, politics & economics and journalism certificates. At Duke, he is a bassist for the Duke Jazz Ensemble, a columnist for the Chronicle, and is involved on the executive boards of the Duke College Republicans and the Duke Moot Court team. In the future, he seeks to pursue a career in law. Last summer, he was a research intern for Health Policy Studies at the Heritage Foundation in Washington D.C. He has also worked as a policy research intern for the Foundation for Government Accountability through the Charles Koch Institute’s summer internship program.
